While it wasn’t entirely unexpected that Konami would try to carry on the Metal Gear series after Hideo Kojima struck out on his own, but we didn’t expect this. Trailer after the jump!
Metal Gear Survive, is all about well, surviving. As the timeline goes it takes place immediately after Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, and it revolves around a bunch of people who got sucked into an alternate dimension. If the music of the trailer is any indicator, the plot will be driven quite strongly by trying to find a way back home from a land filled with weird crystalised zombie unicorn people and maybe Metal Gear.

The game will definitely be a lot more action-oriented than the previous games in the series, and if this is truly where the Metal Gear series is going sans Kojima, we’re kinda worried. Hopefully, more about the game will crop up when it nears launch because really, we want to know what’s the deal with those zombies.
