Logan director James Mangold has been very vocal about wanting Dafne Keene to return to the big screen as X-23. Now it would seem like X-Men film producer, Hutch Parker has similar thoughts as well.
In an interview with Screen Rant, Parker had this to say:
Anything is possible. I think part of the fun of this universe is, as it’s expanded and it’s gotten more off-shoots, there are ways to potentially explore X-23 further. It’s something we’ve been talking about a little bit and have, frankly, going back a bit. So that’s a possibility.
Having Dafne Keene back as X-23 would be great! Her work as Laura/X-23 in Logan is definitely one of the best comic book movie performances of all time. However, bringing her back into the fold would be quite tricky, because of the wonky timelines in the X-Men film universe. After all, Logan is set in a time where most of the X-Men are already dead. In any case, having Dafne Keene back on the big screen as X-23 will do nothing but boost the franchise.
Directed by James Mangold and starring stars Hugh Jackman as Logan, Patrick Stewart as Charles, Dafne Keen as Laura, Boyd Holbrook as Pierce and Stephen Merchant as Caliban, Logan is now available on Blu-ray and DVD.
