Bandai Namco has announced that they’re bringing a new Power Rangers game to the table, with the side-scrolling Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: Mega Battle to launch in January next year. Trailer inside!

Developed by Bamtang, the game will be pitting our classic Rangers and their Zords against familiar enemies like Rita Repulsa this 2D sidescrolling beat-em up.

You’ll also get to use a whole range of attacks that connect into combos, and you can level up your heroes to unlock new abilities. The game will feature Rocky, Aisha, Adam and Kat as unlockable characters, alongside Tommy Oliver as both the Green and White Ranger.

Each episode of the game will be based on an episode from the TV series.

Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: Mega Battle will be out for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2017.
