More cast members have joined up for the upcoming live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie that’s hitting cinemas in 2017. Check them out here.
Apart from Ryosuke Yamada who was the first cast to be confirmed (as Edward Elric, no less) we also have Tsubasa Honda as Winry Rockbell, Dean Fujioka as Roy Mustang, Ryûta Satô as Captain Maes Hughes (well crap?) and Yo Oizumi as Major Shou Tucker (damn, we all know where this is going).
As for the homunculi, so far are confirmed Yasuko Matsuyuki as Lust, Kanata Hongō as Envy and Shinju Uchiyama as Gluttony. You can check out their counterparts in the image below, huge thanks to Twitter user Kotone for putting this huge visual together!
Its also been stated that the plot for the first half of the film will be faithfully reproducing the story from the original Fullmetal Alchemist manga, with the 2nd section of the film to digress into its own original material.
The as-of-yet-unnamed live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film will be directed by Fumihiko Sori and is aiming for a 2017 release in Japan.
