The MSI backpack PC might seem like a silly idea but when you can pack desktop-grade hardware into a mobile device, you’re going to get some serious chops – which VR units require.
Powered by a mobile Intel i7 Extreme series chip and a full size GeForce GTX980, the rig is fully upgradeable and features enough ports and jacks to be used as a standard desktop PC.
It’s not light at 4 and a half kilograms (most of which is presumably the batteries), but since you’ll probably be traipsing through a virtual world at the time you might not notice.
