B: The Beginning anime just got a bunch of new details announced for the show, as well as the premiere date.

The 12-episode series was originally unveiled under the title Perfect Bones, but changed the title.

Here’s the synopsis:

In a world powered by advanced technology, crime and action unfold in the archipelagic nation of Cremona. Koku, the protagonist. Keith, the legendary investigator of the royal police force RIS. A mysterious criminal organization. A wide variety of characters race through the fortified city as it is beset by the serial killer, Killer B, and a chain of crimes in this suspense drama by director Kazuto Nakazawa and Production I.G

On top of revealing the cast, three new visuals were also dropped by the streaming service. Granted, the character name romanizations are not confirmed but here’s more or less the list of cast:

Kazuto Nakazawa and Production I.G are credited as the original creators, with Nakazawa and Yoshiki Yamakawa directing the series. Nakazawa is also the key animation supervisor and is behind the character design. Katsuya Ishida is writing the screenplay and Yoshihiro Ike is behind the music.

No set date yet, but B: The Beginning will be out sometime in Spring 2018.
