A new image from the upcoming Ghostbusters movie is here, plus some new info on the spooks the controversial new team will be busting. Check ’em out here.
Entertainment Weekly has revealed that the new film will have a variety of ghosts, ranging from “Pilgrims, old-timey sailors, Revolutionary War spirits, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters.” Not a great surprise, especially since there are rumours that a prequel movie is in development.
They’re also probably keeping the wraps on the movie’s own superspook (think something the magnitude of Gozer) but it would still be a rather interesting surprise.
The image on the other hand is showing the team next to an overturned firetruck so we’re expecting a LOT of action from this flick.
For those not in the know, Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters reboot has been the target of controversy since the day it had its female leads announced; from the casting all the way down to their jumpsuits.
Cast members are Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy to take the roles of the original Ghostbusters team. Their characters have yet to be named.
Ghostbusters will be bustin’ the cinemas 15 July 2016.
