Not too long ago we reported that one of the most beloved Disney children’s cartoon, Duck Tales, was getting a remake. If there was one thing that was really iconic about the series, it was the theme song. If you were worried that they’d do away with the original theme song, don’t fret, as you’ll see in the newly released opening theme clip that it’s still there, albeit slightly updated.
It’s great that Disney has kept the original theme. It’s one of the most fun and catchiest theme songs to ever come out of a cartoon series and many of us can still hum or sing the entire tune by memory. The new theme song itself doesn’t differ too much from the original with the exception of a female singer and maybe a higher key (at least to our ears).
On top of the new theme, Disney also announced the premiere date of the series and it’ll be aired on 12 August this year, which is naturally, on a Saturday. We can’t wait!
