FromSoftware recently streamed some brand new footage of Dark Souls 3, showing off a bit of gameplay for the upcoming action-RPG.
The video in question also shows off the quick step; a weapon art in Dark Souls 3 that Bloodborne players would be quite familiar with. Weapon arts in Dark Souls 3 are weapon-specific abilities that add combat options to your gameplay; with some weapons providing new types of attacks and others the ability to charge them up.
Daggers for instance give players a new defensive option (aka the quick step) which is different from the dodge-roll which consumes mana with each use.
Dark Souls 3 will be hitting the shelves on 24 March in Japan, with an 12 April launch date for western markets.
