Full Metal Panic!/ フルメタル パニック! , the military action thriller with mecha that was popular during mid-2000s is back with a new anime adaptation. The announcement was made by the creators – Shinji Gotoh the writer and Douji Shiki the artist, during “Fantasia Bunko Big Thanksgiving 2015″ event.

Aside from that though, there isn’t any other details to the announcement. However this little bit of new will certainly make Full Metal Panic and mecha fans happy. Especially since many have been clamoring for a sequel to the anime after the end of Second Raid almost 10 years ago in 2005.
And if you’re wondering what the Tweet says, it actually translates to “Finally! The Full Metal Panic! anime is under production!”
We can safely say that we can expect the new anime to be released sometime next year.
