Sunrise has announced that new footage from their Gundam Build Fighters Try series, will air on Japanese TV this August. At the same time, Bandai also announced three new Gunplas that will be featured in the upcoming footage.
The news was revealed at the Shizuoka Hobby Show, a trade fair for Japanese scale models. Gundam Build Fighters Try was a 25 episode series that ended its run in 2015, and it was the sequel to the Gundam Build Fighters series that aired in 2014. The new footage will air in a few months although it is not immediately clear whether the Gundam Build Fighter series will be getting a new season.
The footage will also feature three Gundams for which Bandai has announced Gunpla models for, also for release in August.
These are the HGBF ZZ II, HGUC Hyaku-Shiki (Mobile Suit Z Gundam) and RG Sinanju (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096). All the models will be at 1/144 scale, and will retail for prices ranging from 1,200 to 4,104 yen.
The 55th Shizuoka Hobby Show opened yesterday and will be running until the end of the weekend.
