We already know something big is heading our way from HTC on 1 March 2015 during MWC in Barcelona. First off, everyone is speculating that the flagship model, the HTC M9 Hima will definitely be there for the unveiling. However, one of the most famous leakers on the Internet, Evan Blass, told us that there is possibly another model on the way. If his leak is true, that means the Taiwanese manufacturer has two models ready for 2015.

The images tease two new, unseen before HTC phones that shares the same design style with the other models from the company. The major difference between two is one of them has a fingerprint scanner right below the HTC logo. Other leaks have said this version is codenamed “Hima Ultra” which has a DuoCamera and fingerprint scanner which specific only for China’s market.
That button on Hima_Ultra’s front is just a fingerprint reader(touch-based, is not garbage like One max’s), not working for Home-key.

HTC M9pt P means Plus, T means for China Mobile(CMCC mainly using *T*D-LTE/*T*D-SCDMA), not “ProtoType”.

Other rumoured specifications of the Hima Ultra are 5-inch, 1920 x 1080 display, UltraPixel front facing camera, 20MP rear camera and Snapdragon 810 CPU.
Another notable fact raised here is the phones in the new leaked images are different from the previous leaks. The previous leaks have similar designs to the old HTC models which is consistent with the company’s practice to disguise its new model with dummy test phones.
Perhaps the truth will be known soon at the event. Until then, all these leaks are tantalizing glimpses that growing to be more convoluted as ever. The race to be king of smartphone for 2015 is really heating up.
