Disney has revealed some new images from their upcoming films, The Jungle Book and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Check them out here!
The Jungle Book is a brand new live-action retelling of the story of the same name; where Mowgli (Neel Sethi) is raised by wolves. He soon finds that the Jungle is no longer safe for him when Shere Khan (voiced by Idris Elba) comes after him.
His adventures culminate in a journey of self-discovery, guided by Bagheera (voiced by Ben Kingsley) and Baloo (voiced by Bil Murray). He later meets Kaa (voiced by Scarlett Johansson) and King Louie (voice by Christopher Walken).
The star-studded cast also includes the voices of Lupita Nyong’o as the voice of mother wolf Raksha and Giancarlo Esposito as alpha male wolf Akela.
The Jungle Book hits theatres 15 April 2016.
Alice Through the Looking Glass is a new entry in Disney’s fully live-action series of movies based on the Alice series of books by Lewis Carroll.
The movie has Alice return to Underland to travel back in time to save the Mad Hatter.
Cast has quite a few returning faces, including Mia Wasikowska, Anne Hathaway, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Rhys Ifans, Stephen Fry, Matt Lucal, Andrew Scott, Ed Speelers, John Sessions, Michael Sheen and Sacha Baron Cohen as the baddie.
The movie is directed by James Bobin, taking over from Tim Burton who helmed the first movie in 2010. Alice Through the Looking Glass is written by Linda Woolverton and produced by Joe Roth, Suzanne and Jennifer Todd with Tim Burton, John G. Scotti as executive producers.
The movie will hit theaters 27 May 2016.
