We’ve already had a handful of teasers for the upcoming The Lego Batman Movie spinoff but now we’ve also gotten our first look at some other characters that will be showing up.
The characters in question are none other than Batgirl (Rosario Dawson), Alfred Pennyworth (Ralph Fiennes), Robin (Michael Cera), The Joker (Zach Galifianakis) and Mayor Marion Grange (Mariah Carey). We also spotted Harley Quinn in one of the images but we don’t know if she will be a voiced character as of yet. Will Arnett will be back to voice Batman himself.
In the irreverent spirit of fun that made “The LEGO® Movie” a worldwide phenomenon, the self-described leading man of that ensemble – LEGO Batman – stars in his own big-screen adventure. But there are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from The Joker’s hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.
The movie will also be full of Batman and DC Comics easter eggs, so we’re going to have a lot of fun trying to spot those.
The Lego Batman Movie will hit cinemas 10 February 2017.
