Is Samsung developing a unique Galaxy S6 with two edge displays, one on each side?
According to the premier Samsung leak site, Sammobile, their sources confirms this to be true and stress that this is a special version of the Galaxy S6 just like the Galaxy Note Edge. The serial designation number of this Edge version of S6 is SM-G925. Just like the Galaxy Note Edge, the most notable feature will be it’s curved display.
It will run on the panel-based system, with panels from the Note Edge such as Yahoo!Finance, news, briefings, sports, pedometer, main apps and contacts will be available. All of it can be downloaded from the Korean company’s app store.
Besides this, the leak site also said that the model will come with features such as the ability to switch the primary side depending on which dominant hand the user is. Very handy for southpaws. Last but not least, the Glance Lighting will light up the Edge when the user receives a notification or call, which includes an option to assign colours to specific contacts so when a call is coming, the user will know who is the caller based on the colour lights.
The race to be top of the smartphone arena has just gotten more interesting.
