The latest trailer for DC comics’ film: Suicide Squad, revealed more just the usual sneak peek comprising of a beautifully put together action montage.

The answer to the question is, of course, the eponymous, Suicide Squad. Some very bad people that could do some good, consisting of The Joker , Enchantress, Harley Quinn , Rick Flag, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang , Killer Croc, Slipknot, El Diablo, and Katana, as  a group of super villains running blacks-ops for the government. Keeping this motley crew in check is Rick Flagg played by Joel Kinnaman, via stern threats drill sergeant style.

The trailer revealed the super villains released from prison and subsequent military training with team bonding moments. Particularly,  the footage of Will Smith’s character, Deadshot eggs on El Diablo played by Jay Hernandez into unleashing a firestorm.

For those who are looking forward to its release will look forward to Margot Robbie’s performance as Harley Quinn this latest teaser highlights her knack for delivering witty punch lines. While the clip allays doubts and fears on the latest DC installment it also features some puzzling shots of Batman, particularly a shot of him carrying an unconscious Harley Quinn.

While, the latest incarnation of the Joker, played by Jared Leto takes on a different approach to character portraying a more gritty and “urban” villain. How Batman’s arch nemesis ties into the Suicide Squad movie is not yet clear despite the more than generous appearance in the latest trailer. More likely, we’ll know more when Suicide Squads premieres August 5th.
