New Supergirl trailer shows off what she’s capable of

Supergirl has just gotten a new trailer thanks to CBS.

Now fans get to see a few people or entities that Supergirl has to fight in the Season One and looks pretty interesting. The amoral mogul Maxwell Lord is up to something while cozying up to Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart), Reactron (Chris Browning) in full costume looking dangerous as well as something that resembles a Predator.

This trailer also reminds us what Supergirl can do – freezing breath, super-hearing and her blue coloured heat-vision. Of course, we are also wondering who is the black clad flying person seen in the trailer.

In addition, Supergirl cast consists of Glenn Morshower (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ) and Jenna Dewan-Tatum (American Virgin) as Sam and Lucy Lane, Brit Morgan (The Mentalist, Criminal Minds) as Livewire, Iddo Goldberg (Tut) as Red Tornado, Owain Yeoman (American Sniper) as Vartox, Iron Man villain Faran Tahir (Elysium, Escape Plan) as The Commander, Jeremy Jordan (Law & Order: SVU) as Toyman, Dean Cain (Superman TV series) and Helen Slater (Supergirl) as Kara’s adoptive Earth parents plus Laura Benanti (Nashville) as Kara’s Kryptonian mother Alura.
