Sword Art Online: Lost Song has a new trailer, and this time its showcasing the monster battles. The game is set to debut on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita this week.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song already shipped for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan earlier this year in March, so this essentially heralds the game’s arrival for the western markets.

The game is set in Svart Alfheim, with the flying city of Line at it’s center; which operates as a hub for players to organise their party or start quests. The game also features 3D flight-based combat, so expect to be zipping around the sky quite a bit.

Sword Art Online: Lost Song is expected to have about 20 to 30 hours of gameplay but no specific character endings though it does feature character-centric episodes. There will also be five to ten multiplayer quests to start and completing story mode quests will unlock more content for multiplayer.

Bandai Namco is releasing the “Game Director’s Edition” of the game in Japan on 19 November, which will also include Sword Art Online: Lost Song and Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment on the PS4 plus downloadable costumes for both games.
