Attack on Titan Junior High Anime Visual

We have a preview video for the upcoming anime adaptation of Attack on Titan: Junior High/ 進撃!巨人中学校   or Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou parody manga series by Saki Nakagawa, based on the popular original manga by Hajime Isayama.

The new video also previews the opening theme of the anime, “Seishun wa Hanabi no You ni” sung by Linked Horizon. The series is a parody of Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan where it follows the main characters of the original series (in Super Deformed mode) as if they were attending school, Titan Jr. High. The promo video also reveals that Yuuki Kaji (Eren), Kishou Taniyama (Jean), and Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa) will perform the ending theme song “Hangeki no Daichi” (Ground’s Counterattack) under the unit name “Attackers.”

The Attack on Titan: Junior High‘s anime adaptation will air on Sundays, starting from 4th October, during the Fall/Autumn 2015 season. The official synopsis of the series:

The story follows Eren Yeager and Mikasa Ackerman entering Titan Jr. High, a school where humans and Titans study in the same area in coexistence. Because of a “traumatic” event, where the Colossal Titan ate his lunch back in middle school, Eren hates the Titans, and is constantly trying to find a way to rid the earth of their kind. Because of this, he has a hard time making friends, much to Mikasa’s worry.”

Guess we have to watch this while waiting for second season of  Shingeki no Kyojin in 2016 hopefully.
