CBS has unleashed a brand new trailer for their MacGyver series reboot, check it out here.
While it’s nice that this classic is getting reborn for a more modern era, it seems to be lacking the charm of the original. MacGyver is directed by James Wan (The Conjuring, Furious 7) with Lucas Till (X-Men: Apocalypse) as McGyver.
The cast also includes Justin Hires as Wilt Bozer, MacGyver’s roomie, Tristin Mays as hacker Riley Davis and George Eads (CSI) who plays Lincoln, a conspiracy theorist on government payroll.
MacGyver premieres 23 September on CBS. Hopefully it manages to live up to the fame of its predecessor.
