After all the drama involving the postponement of the Video Games Live concert last month, the show finally has a confirmed location as well as a new show date.
Announced on the 11Pass11 website, the new date for the concert will be on the 27 February 2016 at Stadium Negara. Ticket holders received their new ticket notices sometime this week (and if you haven’t gotten one , check your spam folder) via email. The announcement was also made via VGL KL’s page earlier this week.
People who have won passes to the concert via the #VGLKLGAMEON cosplay contest should still be getting their zone passes without any changes.
We don’t quite know how the new seating arrangements will be like, considering Stadium Negara has a fairly different seating arrangement to what was available at Putra Indoor Stadium. You can check out the two layouts below for a comparison. There is also a new seating option called The Moat which features a free-standing zone.
Tickets are still available for sale at the 11Pass11 site, with The Moat being priced at RM45 a pop, which is pretty cheap compared to the rest of the tickets. Ticket holders who have requested for refunds have yet to receive them however, but those who opt not to get their tickets refunded will receive a limited edition Video Games Live wristband for their support.
The concert is still quite a ways off, so hopefully no more bad luck befalls the organisers with the new location.
