Looks like the sequel to smash hit RPG Ni no Kuni is getting it’s release delayed.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was originally supposed to be released on 10 November this year, but due to the production needing more time to polish the game, they have decided to bump the release by a few months.
Now Revenant Kingdom is set to release on the PS4 and PC come 19 July 2018.
Akihiro Hino, CEO and President of LEVEL-5 Inc dropped a statement on the matter:
‘We have decided that more development time is required in order to deliver the full Ni no Kuni II experience to our fans. I deeply apologise to those who have been looking forward to the game’s release. Please rest assured, however, that we will continue to strive to provide a deep and satisfying single player experience that our fans can look forward to enjoying.’
Personally, I think a bit of a delay isn’t much if it promises a much better overall experience. The game has been in development for this long already, we can wait a few more months 🙂
