Kotobukiya‘s got a pretty impressive line of re-imagined figures from the DC universe, and Nightwing has just gotten the Ikemen treatment from the company.
If you’re familiar with Kotobukiya’s Bishojo line (which includes characters like Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Wonderwoman, Katana and the like) but would have noticed that they didn’t have a line for their male heroic/villainous counterparts. However, that’s pretty much set to change with their new Ikemen line, with the announcement of their first two figures to join it, Nightwing and Red Hood.
The first figure is a 1/7 scale sculpt of Nightwing/Dick Grayson and he has plenty of uhh…. assets.
The figure comes with a few alternate face options, including one with his domino mask and one without. The first edition batch will also have an extra face option with pursed lips, seemingly being in mid-sentence.
Nightwing will go for 8,000 yen (about RM299) when he retails next March.
The other figure is that of Jason Todd, or Red Hood. There’s no pricing details and release date yet but they did reveal one image of what the upcoming figure might be like.
Both figures are based on artwork by illustrator Ricken, who has drawn covers and done plenty of work for DC.
No idea who will be up next in their Ikemen lineup (can we get an Ikemen Alfred please?), but who are you hoping to show up next? let us know in the comments!
