Nike has quite a few awesome designs under their belt, from the awesome Back to the Future powerlaced sneakers to Slam Dunk inspired Air Jordans; and now they’ve gotten some Godzilla loving for their Air Max shoes.
Charles Barkley’s signature shoe, the Nike Air Max CB ’94 is getting a makeover, inspired by Godzilla. The shoes will feature reflective green panels (inspired your the scaly skin of yours truly) yellow and orange gradient leather, black nubuck mudguards and soles with a teeth motif.
The underside of the sole even has Godzilla’s mighty eye peering back at you.
However, this isn’t the first time the basketball star has met Godzilla though; with the two meeting in a classic 90s TV spot for Nike.
Unfortunately the colour swap is only available in children size (dangit!) and there’s no word on a release for the western market. Hopefully they will become available in adult size but for now we guess only kids will get to stomp the mighty lizard way.
