Now this release makes us feel really old. Nintendo is releasing a special commemorative New Nintendo 3DS for Pokemon‘s 20th anniversary on the same day Pokemon Red. Blue and Yellow came to be.
The special bundle will come with all three above games pre-installed and you will be treated to a special Pokemon menu theme. Also, you will have Charizard and Blastoise faceplates to choose from, to declare your love for your favourite starter.
The Nintendo eShop will be seeing the re-release of the digital versions of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow as well. They won’t be remakes/remasters but they’ve included some online functionality so you can trade with everyone else.
The commemorative Nintendo 3DS will hit the market on 27 February. In the meantime, maybe you want to stack some Pikachus on this Snorlax?
