Nintendo might just be working on minimizing another one of their classic consoles, has filed a trademark for the Nintendo 64 controller recently, hinting at a possible N64 mini in the future.
We’ve already seen three of Nintendo’s consoles given the mini treatment, the as-of-now discontinued NES Mini, the Super NES Mini, and Super Famicom Mini, the latter two which are set to hit the market sometime in the next couple of months.
The Nintendo 64 was released in 1996 and was one of the early consoles that was capable of “3D graphics” and it spawned classic titles like Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Mario Kart 64 among others.
While we don’t know for certain whether or not this console is going to be made, here’s a list of possible games that might make it on the N64 mini:
- Super Mario 64
- Mario Kart 64
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
- Star Fox 64
- Paper Mario
