Precision Syndicate of Texas modified this Glock up to look like a Nintendo Zapper, one of the very first light guns on the NES. Except this one shoots bullets.
The modded Glock came to light when Precision Syndicate posted it on their Facebook page last week, with the gun bearing the Zapper’s signature two-tone colours and red accents. With the Nintendo Zapper logo on the barrel of course. While they aren’t the first to produce such a thing, it turned out pretty authentic looking.
However, the mod was made for a friend of the creator and will likely never be available commercially; to be displayed in a case somewhere no doubt. Since posting, the Nintendo Glock has only attracted drama, which prompted Precision Syndicate to drop a statement on the matter:
In light of the “Nintendo Glock” drama, we feel that the media and our fans need to know that this firearm will not be mass produced nor will it ever be. This is a one off custom build for a friend of ours. Do to the thousands of emails and messages we have received in the past 2 days we have been unable to contact everyone in a timely manner, please be patient we will get to you as soon as possible. Thank you all for your support! Oh, and please.. keep your guns locked up and away from children, it’s common sense.
We still think its a pretty awesome piece of work though. Pity it got as much flak as it did, considering its just a cool collector’s piece.
