One Piece: Burning Blood is set for an international release in 2016 according to Namco Bandai.
The title is set for PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One, and is a one-on-one fighting game. It will utilize fighting and devil fruit abilities, logia users will able to use their powers to evade damage. There is a hint that main character, Luffy will able to acitivate Gear Fourth in this game.
Sony revealed this game during the pre-TGS 2015 press conference not long ago with Spike Chunsoft as the main developer. Kouji Nakajima (One Piece: Pirate Warriors franchise, One Piece: Unlimited World Red) will be the producer with Hiroyuki Kaneko as the director and Tairi Kikuchi serving as the game designer.
The game will be available in twelve languages such as English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Neutral Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The synopsis of One Piece: Burning Blood:
“One Piece: Burning Blood is built upon the wacky and rich One Piece universe and will offer a never-seen-before experience thanks to the fast-paced gameplay and unique One Piece elements! Speaking of which, Logia Devil Fruits and “Haki” can be used to throw massive special moves and take down the fiercest opponents! Stay tuned for more reveals”.
