The second featurette on Blizzard’s series of four videos on Overwatch is out, and its all about Widowmaker.
If the series so far has been any indication, Blizzard isn’t just great t making games; but are pretty dang good at building up whole universes, with plans to make Overwatch an entirely new one. The videos aim to flesh out characters, again very much like Valve‘s Meet videos for Team Fortress 2.
“Alive” as the short is called, focuses on Amélie LaCroix, also known as Widowmaker. The French assassin is a sniper, and that grappling hook of hers is also an actual in-game ability. That and her affinity to spidery things.
Don’t forget to catch the first short “Recall” which is about Winston. The next two videos are expected to hit in the weeks following to the release of Overwatch on 24 May.
