We can dream of this, right?

For all the rumours and reports that Pacific Rim 2 was going down the drink, director Guillermo del Toro still firmly states that the film is here to stay.

He posted on twitter recently that production was still on-going and he will be in the project in one way or another.

Universal has already removed the film from their release schedule but states that they are dedicated to producing the film despite all the problems. The sequel was originally slated for an April 2017 release and then shifted to an August 2017 release before being removed from the schedule entirely.

We honestly don’t mind the wait as long as we get to see Godzilla duking it out with Gypsy Danger.
