Overkill Software is offering Payday 2 for free on Steam for a limited time so grab yourself one while there’s still copies available!
While Payday 2 has been available for free in the past, these have been temporary things. Now, the company is offering the base game for free, this time for real. They’re only giving away 5 million copies though, so you shouldn’t wait too long to pick up your game.
As for those looking for the DLC, Overkill is consolidating all the extra content and Payday 2 into an Ultimate Edition package, which will go for $45 when it drops. Those who already own the base will have the option to upgrade at price points determined by the DLC they already own.
