So many of us were extremely disappointed when the news of a delay in Pokemon GO’s global release was announced. There is some light at the end of the tunnel though as according to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), the game could be launched “within a few days”.
Do take note however that this piece of news isn’t directly from Nintendo or Niantic Labs themselves as WSJ has cited sources as “people familiar with plans for the game.” We hope this piece of news is fairly accurate as many fans of the franchise are really disappointed with the slow roll-out of the game globally.
While initially there was a workaround on getting the app, it currently doesn’t do much except allow players to move around an empty map. There has also been some dangers to fans who are to eager to get their hands on the game as in their quest in getting the APK for Android phones, they open up their devices to malware-infected clones of the app.
So guys, just be patient. We’re pretty sure the game will hit our countries slowly but surely over the next couple of days. And if you really want to get the app on your Android device (sorry iOS users, no solutions for you here), then make sure you don’t end up installing something more than you bargained for.
