Pokemon Go has suddenly gone offline, causing trainers worldwide to be unable to login.
The reasons for the sudden issue is uncertain, but Niantic is already aware of the problem, acknowledging the issue on the official Pokemon Go Twitter.
We’re investigating an issue which is preventing Trainers from logging in. Thank you for your patience as we look into this issue.

Simply put, nobody can log in as when trying to load the app you’re asked to retry or try a different account. We’re not sure what exactly caused this enormous meltdown but it could be anything running from Niantic is about to insert Gen 3 Pokemon into the game to possible outage due to server overload.
It’s worth noting that Pokemon Go is currently running the autumn Equinox event, which is set to run till 2 October. The event allows trainers to collect double stardust and triple XP That’s enough to even bring older, slightly more disinterested players out of the woodwork but it shouldn’t have caused their entire network of servers to fail just like that
