The Pokemon Company has a brand new Pokemon movie hitting the screens this summer, and it’s going to be an extra special treat for old time Pokemon fans.
The movie, titled I Choose You, is a feature-length retelling of the very first few episodes of the original Pokemon animated series. The first teaser for the movie came out last year in December, but this is the first proper trailer we’re having for the movie, alongside a poster.
We will once again get the chance to watch Ash begin his journey through Kanto, with a less than cooperative Pikachu. Good times.
I Choose You is set to descend on theaters in Japan 15 July, but doesn’t yet have a western release date set as for now.
