That’s right, our trio of superpowered schoolgirls is apparently getting a new member as part of a five-part movie event titled The Powerpuff Girls: Power of Four.
The event begins 17 September on Cartoon Network and they’ve also revealed a silhouette of the new character but will only make the full reveal when the movie airs.
If you’re not familiar with the reboot, The Powerpuff Girls revolves around superhero trio Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup as they protect the city of Townsville while trying to live out their daily lives as the daughters of Professor Utonium.
I’m personally not sure what I think of the new fourth member, given that the girls have had a “sister” in the past (Bunny) but she didn’t really stay on due to being a physically unstable creation of the girls.
Hopefully the new character is interesting!
