We’re pretty sure many Malaysian LEGO fans are hyped about the release of the Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon. However, the Malaysian price has yet to be officially announced. The local gaming retailer, Impulse Gaming, however, seems to have leaked the Malaysian retail price, while announcing a pre-order promo of their own.
Update: Representatives at Lego Malaysia have confirmed with us that the UCS Star Wars Millennium Falcon would be avaialble in Malaysia on 1st October and at the RM3499 price that was stated below.
The sets would be available from all Official LEGO stores and if you missed out on Impulse offer, this would be a good time to get it.
According to a post by Impulse, the UCS Star Wars Millennium Falcon will have a recommended retail price (RRP) of RM3,499 in Malaysia. However, Impulse is having a special pre-order for the set and offering it at RM3,199, RM300 off the supposed RRP.
Considering how much the set will cost over in neighbouring Singapore (SGD$1,209), this works out to be a lot cheaper than what they’ll be getting. Even without the pre-order price from Impulse, the set would work out to be around RM300 cheaper after conversion and if you’re pre-ordering it from Impulse that’s a good RM600 off if you were to buy it from Singapore.
That’s good news for Malaysian LEGO fans. Don’t be too happy though as Impulse has mentioned that they have limited stocks available at that price, so if you’re going to get it, you might want to pre-order it NOW.
Since the Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon will be launched in early October, Impulse says that the delivery for the pre-orders should reach by mid-October.
While Impulse Gaming has claimed that the RPP is RM3,499, do take note that LEGO Malaysia has yet to officially announce the availability and price of the Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon in the country. So there is a possibility that it might cost even more which makes this deal pretty worth it.
