Officially starting on 20 February at Pinewood Studios, London, the as-of-yet untitled Han Solo Star Wars Story will follow both Han and Chewie before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope. That includes their encounters with Lando Calrissian, and possibly will touch on how exactly he lost the Millenium Falcon in a game of sabacc.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are directing the movie, with cast members Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. They’re also joined by Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Thandie Newton and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
The untitled film is set for a 25 May 2018 release.
