Yuma Ando and Masahi Asaki’s Psychometer spinoff manga Debusen is getting the live-action treatment, and will be adapted into a six episode series for Hulu.
The news came in the 29th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine, and that they’ll also have an “important announcement” in their next issue come 27 June.
The sevent compiled volume of Debusen will ship on 6 July, while the Psychometer manga continues being serialised in Weekly Young Magazine as well.
The manga itself focuses on Psychometer character Mitsuru Fukushima, who fell into debt due to his love of cosplay. He went to the forest around Mount Fuji to commit suicide when he finds the dead body of a female teacher named Mitsuko Fukushima (what a coincidence!) who looks just like him. He picks up her identity and helps reform delinquent students.
