We all love discounts and gamers are no exception. With digital purchase platforms like Steam, GOG.com and many more, its easier then ever to get games legally and the best part, is the discounts they offer occasionally. Of course tracking discounts over multiple platforms and sites can be a chore but Razer has now unveiled their own app, Cortex, that’ll make that a chore no more.

Cortex is a desktop application and it tracks and compiles prices from various online stores. It’s currently in its beta stages though you can apply for early access as well. Currently, the prices are sourced from US based vendors so the usual suspects like Amazon, GOG.com, Steam and Origin, among others, can be seen in the app. You can even have a side by side comparison in price. As for the frequency of the price updates, the app supposedly does them every hour.

The app is supposedly going to offer Razer’s Game Booster as well ,which allows you to enhance your gaming performance on your PC. Razer in the last year or so has been expanding out beyond its usual gaming peripheral with software release like Game Booster, Razer Comms and now Cortex. It’s even gotten itself into the wearables game with the announcement of the Razer Nabu. It’ll be interesting see just what else they’ve got their sleeves.
