Chris Browning (Sons of Anarchy) is casted as Ben Krull aka Reactron, the recurring big bad guy in the CBS Supergirl series. He is set to make an appearance in third episode of the series.
Reactron is the villain clad in nuclear powered armour who has an axe to grind against Superman and decides to take it out on his cousin at National City instead. Some fans felt it is a clever compromise, since it keeps the connection to Man of Steel. But he decides to take on less experienced Supergirl to hurt him so there is a connection but no direct appearance of Superman that might take the spotlight away from her.
Besides Reactron, Supergirl will be contending with other funky personalities such as Vartox (Owain Yeoman) the Sean Connery Zardoz look-a-like, The Commander (Faran Tahir), Livewire the former radio shock jock, Lumberjack and the billionaire Maxwell Lord (Peter Facinelli).
CBS’ description of Maxwell Lord who hovering between being a good guy and villain with a capacity of being a stalker:
“Maxwell is a green tech billionaire who enjoys a friendly rivalry with Cat Grant and a fascination with National City’s newest arrival — Supergirl.”
Supergirl will be dealing with the these characters soon on 26 October 2015.
