Constantin Film, the guys who worked on all six live-action Resident Evil movies, will be setting their sights on the upcoming film adaptation for Capcom’s Monster Hunter.
The news came when Martin Moszkowicz of Constantin Film confirmed with Variety that it will, in fact, be producing the movie, and that they’re planning on bringing the movie onto the market for distribution rights either late this year or early next year.
The German company will also be working on the planned Resident Evil reboots.
They will be working alongside Impact Pictures producing partner Jeremy Bolt and there are plans to partner up with Dennis Berardi, president of visual effects company Mr.X.
Here’s Impact’s description of the film:
For every Monster, there is a Hero. An ordinary man in a dead end job discovers that he is actually the descendant of an ancient hero. He must travel to a mystical world to train to become a Monster Hunter, before the mythical creatures from that world destroy ours.
How will it turn out? good we hope! We’ll be very much looking forward to seeing the first trailer for this bad boy.
