Anime digital goods brand Gugenka recently announced that they’re releasing a VR smartphone app that stars Rem from Re:ZERO titled Life in an Alternate World With Rem in VR. You can guess where this is going.

The app will come in two different installments, one allowing you to sleep on Rem’s lap and the other letting you sleep besides her. Because no VR experience is complete without the ability to look around, there will be a “figure appreciation mode” that allows you to view Rem in any angle you wish in three particular scenes.

The VR experience will also include 24 scenes featuring Rem’s voice actress, Inori Minase, just for the app. These include events, birthdays and even a scene where Rem gives you a nickname based on the first syllable of your name.

Gurenka is currently running a campaign leading up till the app’s 25 May release on Twitter. If they can reach over 5,000 people following their Twitter handle and post a tweet, they will add one new figure VR scene to the app.

Both installments of the app will be out on 26 May 2017 in Japan, for both iOs and Android. The app costs 960 yen (about RM38) and is compatible with iOS 9.0, Android 4.4 and above.
