George A. Romero is back with a brand new zombie movie and well, the movie is about zombies racing cars to the entertainment of rich people.
The movie is called Road of the Dead, and is described as “Road Warrior meets Rollerball at a NASCAR race, with significant inspiration from Ben-Hur“. As it is, it sounds pretty ridiculous, given that your average zombie even lacks the brain capacity to climb stairs without falling down. We’re expecting it to at the very least be quite action packed, I mean you can’t name something Road of the Dead and no expect at least some violent shenanigans.
The movie be co-written with Matt Birman.
No other details are out for it yet, but we’re hoping to hear more soon.
