Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple AKA Night Nurse is one of the best parts of the Netflix Marvel Universe. Now, she’s in talks to play another character in Fox’s X-Men film universe.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rosario Dawson is in talks to play the role of Dr. Cecilia Reyes, a physician and also a one-time member of the X-Men whose powers include projecting a protective bio-force field around herself. This is interesting because Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple is in the medical field even in the Netlflix Marvel Universe as well. This character will be appearing in Josh Boone’s New Mutants and will serve as a mentor to the young mutants in the film.
However, Dawson isn’t officially cast yet. If she is, she will be joining the likes of Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane and Split actress Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik. There are also reports that 13 Reasons Why‘s Henry Zaga will be cast as Sunspot soon.
New Mutants is set to be released in cinemas on April 13 2018.
