The shoot for Captain America: Civil War has already begun and we have some interesting images from the shoot location in Atlanta, USA. First, we have what appears to be a replica set of wartime London, complete with double decker buses, the 40s London taxi and even an Irish pub.
Next, we have what looks like a cluster of a under developed country’s village which might point to the fictionalAfrican nation of Wakanda that was hinted in Age of Ultron. In case you’re wondering where that is, Wakanda is the only place on Earth (at least in the MCU) where vibranium, the precious metal that Captain America’s shield and the Vision’s body is made off, can be found.
There’s also Instagram pictures of a large procession of funeral which many rumours are saying is for the funeral one time Cap beau, Agent Carter. It’s filmed in modern day setting and is supposedly attended by Agent 13 and Cap himself.
The pictures and leaks don’t stop there. There’s also an Instagram video showing a rehearsal involving Chadwick Boseman’s (Black Panther) stunt double. Apparently, the latest rumour that’s going around is Black Panther will have a major confrontation with Hawkeye/Clint Barton. Umberto Gonzalez has also released a photo concept of both characters posing side by side.
This fuels speculation as to who will be fighting for which side in the upcoming movie.
Many fans are also speculating that Ant-Man played by Paul Rudd will be the middle man between the two battling factions in Civil War.
This is shaping up to be perhaps the most colourful battle royale in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
