Titan Comics and Harmony Gold has a new Robotech comic series coming up and they showed off some of the art at SDCC 2016, featuring pieces from Caspar Wijngaard, Luis Guerrero, Mariano Laclaustra and Antonio Fuso. Check ’em out here!
Robotech, also known as Macross in most parts of the world, was adapted for the American TV screen from three different anime series; Super Dimension Fortress Macross, Super Dimension Calvary Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada.
The anime mostly comprised of giant transforming robots and epic space battles, with a heaping share of complexity and drama which set it apart from many other cartoon series at the time.
However, the release schedule and contest for the series is still up to debate; as Titan Comics will probably release them at a later date. Till then, enjoy these epic teaser images!
