Hulk’s gladiator armor has mysteriously appeared at Marvel‘s SDCC 2016 booth; possibly suggesting that there will be elements from Planet Hulk appearing in Thor: Ragnarok.
Among other reports hinting that there would be Planet Hulk elements in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok film, one suggests that the Hulk would engage in gladiatorial combat on a “distant planet” somewhere in the film, and these props showing up possibly confirms that.

The original Planet Hulk storyline saw the Hulk banished to space by The Illuminati (lol, not that Illuminati) which comprised of Mr. Fantastic, Professor X, Black Bolt, Iron Man, Namor and Black Panther. However, instead of landing on a peaceful planet as they original intended; Hulk lands on Sakaar; a violent planet where gladiators are made to battle for the Red King, emperor of that world. Hulk then gets embroiled in a rebellion that eventually puts him on the throne as the new ruler of the planet.
