The second season of Assassination Classroom or Ansatsu Kyoushitsu by Yusei Matsui has been confirmed according to the upcoming copy of  Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump

The issue is set to be released this coming Monday and according to what we can tell from the released page below, the new season it is set to air on January 2016 and will mark a new semester for members of Classroom E. Season One was originally aired in Japan on January 2015 and finished after a 22 episode run.

No details have been revealed as in who will be in the production team for Season Two, but it is safe to assume that the cast will stay the same for the second season. That means Jun Fukuyama (D-Frag!, Noragami), Tomokazu Sugita (Buddy Complex, Terra Formars), Shizuka Ito (Blade & Soul, D-Frag!) and Mai Fuchigami (Cross Ange, Jinsei) are expected to return for their respective roles.

As for the production crew, the first season has the formidable director/writer combo of Seiji Kishi and Makoto Uezu who also successfully made Danganropa the Animation. And with Studio Lerche (Danganropa the Animation) once again responsible for the production Assassination Classroom, we should expect the return of the duo.
