Seraph of the End/ 終わりのセラフ Season Two is set to premiere on 10 October 2015 , which is about a month or so away.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Owari no Seraph/Seraph of the End manga series by Takaya Kagami (writer), Yamato Yamamoto (artist) and Daisuke Furuya (storyboarding) has been updated with a new visual key, TV schedule and theme song artists. The second cour is titled “Nagoya Kessen-hen or Battle of Nagoya”.
The first cour of Studio Wit’s (Assassination Classroom, Ranpo Kitan) production aired for 12 episodes from April to June this year plus a musical adaptation of it is to be performed at AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo in February 2016. The anime is popular with the young female crowd due to the strong relationship between two male leads – your common fujoshi’s ideal setup for bromance.
The two-member band fripSide who sang the famous OP song for Railgun anime series will also be performing the new OP song “Two souls -toward the truth-” whereas 28-year-old female singer Nagi Yanagi will be singing the ED song “Orarion”.
“Yuuichirou has reunited with Mikaela at the Shinjuku Battle. But Mikaela was turned into a vampire… To save the “family,” and to protect his fellow members, Yuuichirou needed to gain knowledge and power. He searched for ways to bring back vampire to human beings, and at the same time, trained hard working on the Cursed Gear.
Meanwhile, Kureto calls Guren and tells him a shocking truth. That in one month, the main unit of the vampires will start attacking Tokyo. To get a head start against vampires, Kureto orders Guren to go to Nagoya. The noble extermination mission is about to open fire!”
