Shin Megami Tensei 5 is finally coming, and Atlus‘ flagship role-playing game franchise is landing on the Nintendo Switch.
They’ve even released the first teaser for the game as part of a live-stream, and it looks a lot like in-game footage.
Shin Megami Tensei 5 is set in modern-day Japan, and players will have to face down a variety of demons that are tearing the country to pieces.
The game was originally hinted at during Nintendo’s Switch reveal event earlier this year, and Shin Megami Tensei 5 is the only one confirmed for the Switch for now. It’s quite possible that Atlus will be making it a Switch exclusive, as the previous game, Shin Megami Tensei 4, was a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, hinting at a possibility that future games will only be on Nintendo’s handhelds.
